By: Erin Moore for Body1CNN headline news anchor Nancy Grace gave birth to twins Sunday, earlier than planned. The 48-year-old Grace surprised fans by marrying investment banker David Linch in April, and announcing her pregnancy soon after. Their son John David weighed about five pounds and his sister Lucy Elizabeth weighed just under three pounds. Grace suffered from a pulmonary edema (fluid build-up in the lungs) during pregnancy but now both mom and babies are doing well, her spokeswoman said.
Grace’s delivery contributes to a growing trend of celebrities having children later in life. Although possible and better for some families, it is harder for a woman to conceive as she ages, and more complications may result.
