    Music, Health, and Exercise

    October 30, 2007

SanDisk has come out with a small mp3 player, rivaling Apple’s iPod shuffle, and it is creating a buzz in the technology community. Less expensive than the 1GB $80 Shuffle, the new SansaClip – at $40 for 1GB and $60 for 2GB – has more features. The .92-ounce player is only 2.17 x 1.25 inches and allows the user to choose which songs to play. Some people are saying they like it because it also has an LCD screen and an FM tuner, unlike other models. The SansaClip can be used to upload songs from most operating systems.

There are many other mp3 players on the market. Whichever model you choose, they provide one easy way to making being physically active more fun. Music can be incredibly motivating. If you prefer not to buy a music player, take a friend with you – you can encourage each other. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes each day.
