By: Erin Moore for Body1The string of school shootings continues. Asa Coon, a 14-year-old student at SuccessTech School in Cleveland, shot two students and two teachers Monday. He then took his own life. Police found two .38-caliber revolvers next to his body in a fourth-floor classroom. All victims were released from the hospital or being treated Thursday.
Fellow students describe Coon as “odd” and say he was an angry person. He apparently threatened to “shoot up” the school following an argument Monday where he was beaten up. Involved in a domestic violence dispute and a suicide attempt while in seventh grade, Coon had a history of troubles.
SuccessTech is an “alternative” school located in the city of Cleveland; students must apply to attend.
