    ‘Deceptively Delicious’

    October 09, 2007

    By: Erin Moore for Body1

Jessica Seinfeld, wife of Jerry Seinfeld, has come out with a new book that is getting lots of press – and for good reason. Seinfeld is known for starting the nonprofit organization Baby Buggy, which gathers clothing and equipment for New York families in need. But she is also mother to three children with her famous husband. Her book, called Deceptively Delicious, arrived online and in stores Friday. It is a manual for the busy mother who wants her family to eat healthfully and enjoy it at the same time. Her solution? Sneaking wholesome ingredients into loved standards so that kids and adults alike don’t even know it!

Seinfeld’s menu items include tasty dishes such as meatloaf with carrot (snuck in), chicken nuggets with broccoli or spinach, and chocolate cake with beets. Jessica says she and Jerry enjoy slight variations on these meals she feeds her children, keeping everyone happy and healthy.

A balanced diet is key for overall health, as is staying active – preferably 30 to 60 minutes each day. Read more about the positive effects of healthy eating:
