BODY1 AND BOSTON SCIENTIFIC LAUNCH ONLINE CONSUMER RESOURCE FOR GASTRIC REFLUX SUFFERERS

- REFLUX1.COM DEBUTS FOR PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM HEARTBURN, GERD, AND OTHER GASTRIC REFLUX DISORDERS-

CAMBRIDGE, MA, May 15, 2003 -- Body1, Inc. and Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: "BSX") announced the launch of http://www.Reflux1.com. Reflux1 is a knowledge community, or "KnowCo", site for patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and severe heartburn. There are approximately 15 million patients in the US alone who suffer from GERD, heartburn, or acid reflux. The launch of http://www.Reflux1.com provides these patients and their families with a comprehensive knowledge resource to address their information needs.

This alliance also creates an independent, Internet-based channel that Boston Scientific is supporting in order to provide educational information about new medical technologies for treating chronic gastric reflux and heartburn. This educational program highlights Boston Scientific's recent advances with Enteryx®, an endoscopic, injectable treatment for GERD symptoms in patients responding to and requiring daily pharmacological therapy with proton pump inhibitors.

"With The Enteryx Procedure, physicians can offer their patients a treatment that has been shown to reduce drug dependency and improve quality of life," said Michael Phalen, President of the Endoscopy business of Boston Scientific. "We are delighted to work with such an important leader in medical technologies for patient care as Boston Scientific", said Chris Messina, CEO of Body1, Inc. "We believe that they have all the ingredients for advancing the state of the art in patient care- the vision, the people, and the products".
