I have had the same problem of a sore throat for some time now. It started with worst sore throat I ever had. I was diagnosed with mild to moderate GERD through upper G.I. I am taking the same steps, Nexium, diet, elevated sleeping as you are and seem to be improving. I am not thrilled with prospect of indefinite drug use but haven't found an alternative yet. hello, At 24 years old, I feel way too young to be bothered by a constant sore throat. It started almost years ago and i have been to many a doctor for help. ive tried nexium, altering my diet, raising the head of my bed all with success. i also can't seem to find a single person that has experienced acid reflux with a sore throat like I have. Is there anyone who feels my pain? if so, what are you doing to combat this? very greatful to anyone who replies, ryan
