Symptoms
Symptoms include:

• Difficulty forming personal relationships
  
• Becoming excessively attached to familiar objects
  
• Repetition of certain acts and rituals
  
• Late onset of speech
  
• Nonsensical speech
  
• Repeating words as they are spoken to him/her
  
• Many autistic children have trouble with diarrhea or constipation, food sensitivity, gluten intolerance, or celiac sprue.
