    Colorado Shootings May Be Linked

    December 10, 2007

    By: Erin Moore for Body1

In the early morning hours of Sunday, a gunman killed three victims and himself, and five more were wounded. The violence took place at two locations in Colorado, one at a missionary training center outside of Denver, and one at a church in Colorado Springs. Witnesses in Arvada said the gunman looked to be in his 20s and was clad in a dark jacket and skullcap. He was apparently turned away from an overnight stay, and then he drew a gun.

About 12 hours later, another gunman opened fire in the parking lot of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs. A security guard pursued him and then shot him. Officials said there was no reason to believe the two shootings are linked, but are looking into the possibility.
